Overview

Experience a fantastic introduction to two of the most beautiful and off the beaten track towns of Savoca and Forza D’Agro with your local expert driver guide......

Departing from our hotel our first stop will be the town of Savoca which dates back to the first half of the 12th century, although this town is not as touristy as many others it is quite famous! This is where the movie the Godfather was filmed in 1972. During our visit with our guide we will follow in the footsteps of the making of the movie visiting the famous Vitelli bar, the place where Michael Corleone asked Apollonia's father to meet his daughter. Our visit will also include the church of Santa Lucia where the wedding between Apollonia and Michael was shot!

From Savoca we will head to Forza d’Agrò which is one of the very few towns which still conserves its medieval street layout. Here we have it all, tradition, history, culture and much more
